South County’s newest medical building is almost complete at The Village at South County Commons. The three-floor New England style building’s is brand new construction and offers custom floor plans and build-outs to accommodate your needs. The new medical building’s first tenant will be Narragansett Bay Pediatrics, who signed a lease to occupy the entire 7,200 sqft. first floor. The practice offers pediatric care from newborn through adolescence, to include the first college physical with an emphasis on preventive medicine and care/treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. According to Jeffrey Saletin, president of Saletin Real Estate Group, property manager, they expect to occupy the space in early September.
“Medical growth has been strong the past couple of years at The Village at South County Commons,” Saletin said. In 2014, Lifespan leased a 4,477 sqft. office and Clinical Services of Rhode Island leased a 1,542 sqft. office. Rhode Island Eye Institute recently opened its only South County location — a 12,150 sqft. office in a building that will connected by a walkway to the newly constructed office building.
The Village at South County Commons is Rhode Island’s largest lifestyle center with more than 200,000 square feet of medical and general offices, retail, restaurants and services. In addition, the 100-acre South County Commons development includes luxury apartments, condominiums, an assisted-living facility, and a Hampton Inn hotel.
