Family Fun Night Brings the Community Together at South County Commons

What a night!

South County Commons was filled with music, dancing, families and plenty of summer fun as we teamed up with Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge for our annual Family Fun Night.

The beautiful August evening brought out an incredible crowd, with families and friends gathering throughout the Commons for an evening that reminded us exactly why we love hosting these events each summer.

Music, Dancing & Summer Fun

The Jesse Liam Band took to our outdoor stage from 6–8 p.m. and kept the crowd entertained all evening. It didn’t take long for the lawn to turn into a dance floor, with guests of all ages getting up to dance, sing along and enjoy the music.

And there was plenty happening beyond the stage!

Family Fun Night included face painting, balloon twisting, games, raffles and prizes, giving our younger visitors plenty to do throughout the evening.

We even welcomed two larger-than-life special guests when Ron and Pete from Cardi’s Furniture stopped by to join the fun and pose for photos with the crowd.

A Little Something for Everyone

Rhode Island Charm also joined us for the evening with its mobile charm bar, giving guests the opportunity to create personalized jewelry by selecting their own chains and charms.

With activities happening throughout the property, restaurants welcoming guests, music filling the Commons and families settling in with lawn chairs and blankets, there truly was something for everyone.

Of course, our friends at Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge helped make the night extra special with even more fun beginning at 5 p.m. before the concert got underway.

Bringing Our Community Together

One of our favorite things about summer at South County Commons is watching our outdoor spaces come alive.

Family Fun Night was about much more than any one activity. It was about seeing neighbors run into neighbors, kids playing together, families enjoying dinner and treats from our restaurants, and people of every age dancing in front of the stage.

The incredible turnout made this year’s celebration one to remember and was the perfect way to spend an August evening in South County.

Thank you to Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge for partnering with us, to the Jesse Liam Band for keeping everyone dancing, to Rhode Island Charm, Cardi’s Furniture and everyone who helped make the evening possible.

Most importantly, thank you to all of you who came out and joined us.

Seeing so many people gathered together, laughing, dancing and enjoying everything South County Commons has to offer is what these events are all about.

We couldn’t have asked for a better summer night — or a better community to spend it with.

We’ll see you at the Commons!
