South County Commons Shines in Rhode Island Monthly’s 2026 Best of Rhode Island Issue

The results are in, and some of the Best of Rhode Island can be found right here at South County Commons!

Rhode Island Monthly has released its highly anticipated August 2026 Best of Rhode Island® issue, celebrating standout restaurants, businesses, people and experiences from across the Ocean State. This year, South County Commons is especially proud to see Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge and Pasquale’s Pizzeria Napoletana earn recognition — with Audrey’s co-owner Ashley Iaconetti also taking center stage as the magazine’s cover star.

A Cover Moment for Audrey’s

You may recognize the face on the cover!

Ashley Iaconetti, co-owner of Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge with husband Jared Haibon

on and star of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, graces the cover of the special Best of Rhode Island issue.

The magazine introduces Ashley as a “RHORI” star and Best of Rhode Island winner, photographed holding an original oversized Best of Rhode Island bag created by Rhode Island handbag designer Kent Stetson. Even her manicure gets the Rhode Island treatment, with colorful nail art celebrating iconic pieces of the Ocean State.

And Ashley’s appearance on the cover is just the beginning of Audrey’s presence throughout the issue.

Turn to page 91 and you’ll find Audrey’s Coffee House & Lounge recognized for “Concerts & Cocktails.”

Rhode Island Monthly highlights the way Audrey’s transforms throughout the week, pairing its coffeehouse and lounge concept with trivia nights, live music, late-night bites and specialty cocktails.

The magazine specifically calls out drinks including Audrey’s s’mores martini and refreshing peach Aperol spritz and encourages readers to stick around for a chance to catch owners Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon.

It’s a fitting honor for a business that has become much more than a place to grab a cup of coffee. Since opening at South County Commons, Audrey’s has created a true day-to-night destination where coffee, cocktails, food, entertainment and community all come together.

Pasquale’s Takes TWO Best of Rhode Island Honors

Just a short walk away, Pasquale’s Pizzeria Napoletana has even more reason to celebrate.

In the South County Readers’ Poll, Rhode Islanders voted Pasquale’s:

BEST PIZZA – SOUTH COUNTY

and

BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT – SOUTH COUNTY

The two Best of Rhode Island wins add to an already impressive list of accolades for owner and pizzaiolo Pasquale Illiano, whose dedication to authentic Italian pizza-making has earned Pasquale’s recognition both here in Rhode Island and on the national and international stage.

But the August issue doesn’t stop with the awards.

Pasquale’s Featured in Rhode Island Monthly

Readers can turn to page 154 for a dedicated feature on Pasquale’s, giving the South County Commons restaurant another moment in the spotlight.

The feature explores the restaurant and the passion for pizza that has made Pasquale’s a destination for diners from throughout Rhode Island and beyond.

From its authentic Neapolitan roots and carefully selected ingredients to the craftsmanship behind every pizza, Pasquale’s has established a reputation that reaches far beyond South County — while continuing to call South County Commons home.

Some of Rhode Island’s Best, All in One Place

We are incredibly proud to see two South County Commons businesses celebrated in an issue dedicated to the very best our state has to offer.

Congratulations to Ashley Iaconetti, Jared Haibon and the entire Audrey’s team on their Best of Rhode Island recognition and an unforgettable cover moment, and to Pasquale Illiano and the Pasquale’s team on being voted Best Pizza and Best Italian Restaurant in South County.

We already knew we had some of Rhode Island’s best right here at South County Commons — but it’s always nice when the rest of the state agrees!

Pick up the August 2026 issue of Rhode Island Monthly to see Ashley on the cover, Audrey’s on page 91, Pasquale’s feature on page 154 and all of this year’s Best of Rhode Island winners.
